Be Forewarned
My heart knows the way.
I plan to follow it.
What else can I but do?
Oh, it's been broken
into pieces more than once,
by sadness, anger, regrets,
but it always finds
a means of healing,
a map to sharing,
a path to kindness,
a route to compassion.
My heart wants to love.
