Peace Poems...No Great Loss

"Damn, and just when I was starting to get it!"
(Edgar Degas, on his deathbed)

Looking for Enlightenment

One need not suffer.
Loss is forever a choice.
The wise opt for peace.

Passage

On life’s final day
comes an explosion of light.
Be at peace with it.

Emergency

Elders learn by fall
that summer’s losses soon end.
Peace comes with patience.

Everybody Says "Heaven", Nobody Says "Let Me Die"

No dark without light.
No seasons without changes.
No hope without peace.

Cold Is Not Separate From Heat

Life is as it is.
No need to create what’s lost.
Peace is snow and sun.
