Jumping the Gun

Apparently,
Christmas now trumps Halloween.
Amazingly,
the fake trees and lights were on sale in September.
Really.
Truly.
Sadly.

Nostalgically,
it was bad enough when it leapfrogged Thanksgiving.
Statistically,
we’ll soon see department store Santa’s in early July.
Regrettably.
Ruefully.
Honestly.

Hopefully,
a new “occupy” movement will begin.
Actively,
we can sit-in at Sears and Lowe’s and Wal-Mart.
Aggressively.
Strongly.
Madly.
