after you know it all
makes all the difference.

chanting monks
will fill one's heart.

I avoid the news,
it still sneaks in.
Choosing love over hate,
I weep.

If one does work
only for money,
they can never
live long enough.

It's an honor,
a true blessing,
to know people
throughout a lifetime.

I don't like pretension,
don't even like the word.
I prefer phony.

I recall becoming
an old man, but I thought
it would take longer.

Cats are cute and cuddly.
That is, they are
when they're not
being insane.
